AlterEgo Trains Colchester Schools' Staff
21 May 2010
As 15 lucky Colchester students prepare to be trained up to become Olympic reporters, AlterEgo kicks off the programme by training up staff in local schools.
Just as the Olympics hope to leave a legacy in East London, the Supporter to Reporter programme hopes to leave a sustainable project in schools around the country. Now a nationwide programme, students all over England are preparing to take up the challenge of learning to become sports reporters.
AlterEgo is project managing the East of England and starts its training of staff from 4 schools in Colchester on Friday 21st May. These staff will then be able to train up more of their students and to help their pupils overcome any issues as they take on further events.
