AlterEgo Sets Up Interviews with Dwight Yorke and the Match of the Day Team

A group of young reporters trained up by AlterEgo got to meet up with football legend Dwight Yorke on their trip to the BBC today.
Dwight very kindly gave up his time along with football commentator Steve Wilson and the Match of the Day editor, Mark Cole, so that our group of young reporters could practice their interview skills on them.
The reporters had been expecting to interview Football Focus presenter Dan Walker but as he got unexpectedly called away, he kindly organised for Dwight to take his place. This meant that the reporters had to think on their feet and come up with questions on the spot...no mean feat for some of our youngest reporters at 10 years old. But they did a fantastic job and learnt a huge amount from the experience.
After this the Match of the Day team gave our group a special guided tour of the studios which they absolutely loved...and they saw "Miranda" being filmed too. All in all a fantastic day and a huge thank you to the Football Focus and Match of the Day team who went out of their way to help and make sure we had an incredible experience.
