AlterEgo in the Telegraph Independent Schools Supplement Today

AlterEgo are featured in the Daily Telegraph's Independent Schools supplement published today.
"Hidden Costs Behind the Fight for Academic Success" is an article about the rise in stress-related illness among children and teenagers. It talks about the pressures of the classroom and how this can be greater within the private school sector where there may be a more results-driven atmosphere. Many of AlterEgo's clients are privately educated and we have seen a rise in the number of young clients that we are seeing.
The Telegragh's article featured Olivia, a 10 year old client of AlterEgo who came to see us after suffering from nightmares due to stress related anxiety. Thankfully Olivia's nightmares abated after just 2 one-to-one sessions with us. We were able to help Olivia because we provided her with a confidential place to talk about her worries and were then able to work with her to change the circumstances and reframe the situation.
